Outdoor Newborn Session & Documenting Families as They Grow!
This gorgeous family just welcomed a new addition and I was excited to meet them for an outdoor newborn session earlier this month. I had the honor of photographing them when they became a family of three so it was an honor to be here to see this special transition. I love following families as they grow and capturing all the special moments of each stage. It is always amazing to see babies grow into toddlers and then to big siblings. We choose to meet at the South Burlington Community Gardens and the weather cooperated for the perfect June morning.
Turning Into Big Siblings
I will never forget how my eldest felt so much older when she became a big sister. It was so special watching this proud new big brother and I know his parents must feel the same way! He was very loving and attentive and obviously so excited about their new arrival. I love watching how sweet and affectionate this family of four is. You can tell how even through sleep deprivation and the adjustment of adding a new child, they are just enthralled with this little sweetie.
Outdoor Sessions as an Option
While I love having lifestyle newborn sessions at the family’s home, outdoor sessions can be a great alternative if necessary. This family not only welcomed a new baby but are also planning a big move so avoiding the boxes and packing was one of the big goals for our session. An outdoor park with lots of tree coverage for shade can be an awesome choice for sessions with new babies. This time of the year, the weather and light are ideal for early morning sessions. The community gardens are always a favorite session location and especially great if your life is in a little bit of a transition too! I hope you enjoy seeing some of my favorites from this session and thank you for stopping by.
