I can’t believe this year’s Vermont senior photography season is almost here! I’m excited about all the upcoming high school seniors on my calendar. With my session dates already booking with 2020 high school seniors, I wanted to recap some of my senior sessions from this past year. I also hope to explain a bit more about the dynamics of my sessions.
The senior session experience begins well before we meet. It’s important for me to get to know my seniors beforehand. This ensures a customized experience that highlights your personality. Upon booking, seniors will be asked to complete a questionnaire. This allows me to get to know you better. Taking the time to get to know my seniors beforehand allows for easy and fun conversation. It also helps me choose a location and session style that is best suited for your personality and interests. I love offering tips on clothing, accessories, makeup, and when to book your session.
I have several favorite locations in the area. Do you like an urban setting? Downtown Burlington offers a fun backdrop for those looking for something a bit different. Do you prefer a garden setting? The Community Gardens in South Burlington is a favorite location of mine. How is your backyard? Maybe you would like to choose a personal location that is meaningful to you?
My senior sessions work best at a relaxed pace. An unrushed session allows for natural conversation, genuine ease, and variety in location and outfits. Putting you at ease and capturing your personality on camera is my favorite part of my job. All you need to do is be yourself!
