Let’s Talk About Your Winter Family Photography Session!
While they do require a few extra layers, winter family portraits are always some of my favorites! I offer my clients a comfortable and memorable environment while bringing a level of creativity to every photography session. It's my goal that your family photos will be unique and stand out from the rest.
Sessions are designed to be fun, lighthearted, and playful. Parents can expect lots of direction and guidance, while I strive to capture your little one’s attention and bring out their unique personalities. As a former educator and a mom of two, I have a ton of experience with kids of all ages. I love nothing more than encouraging those playful smiles and genuine expressions.
When To Book Your Family Session?
My winter schedule is often more flexible, and I prefer booking sessions in the early afternoon during the colder months. This ensures that we have the warmest temps and the most ideal lighting of the day! My calendar books well in advance, so for specific dates, it’s best to reach out in advance.
Where Does The Session Take Place?
Being a Vermont family photographer, we are fortunate to have a variety of picturesque locations to chose from. I have a variety of favorites throughout Chittenden County, and I am always open to your ideas as well! Upon booking, we will start to discuss location possibilities.
What If Your Kids Don’t Cooperate?
On family photo day, your kids are my responsibility! I have seen it all, tried it all, and I even have kids of my own. As much as possible, I love for parents to set those worries aside. Engaging with your children is as much a part of my job as taking photos. I have it taken care of, so don't worry!
What If The Weather Doesn't Cooperate?
Unfortunately, with winter weather comes the possibility of having to reschedule your photoshoot. If there is too much or too little snow, or the temperature is unreasonable, we can reschedule your winter photoshoot to a later date. Winter is a more flexible time of year for me and I will do best to get your family rescheduled as soon as possible.
